Our Authentication Process
Each item that enters Selectif follows a multi-stage verification protocol:
- Sourcing: We acquire only from verified collectors, reputable boutiques, and long-standing private networks.
- Internal Vetting: Our team of brand-specific specialists inspects every detail — stamps, stitching, serials, materials, and craftsmanship.
- Third-Party Authentication: We collaborate with leading independent authenticators to ensure unquestionable accuracy.
- Certification & Packaging: Once authenticated, the piece is accompanied by its certificate of authenticity, dustbag, and/or box — carefully prepared and ready to be part of your collection.
Should you wish to request verification from an additional third-party authenticator, our team will gladly assist in coordinating the process. Authentication fees charged by external providers remain the client’s responsibility.

Condition Guide
To ensure accuracy and transparency, every bag is assessed individually before being listed. Our grading system reflects the visible state of each piece — from New to Fair — while every piece remains 100% authentic and certified.
- New — Store Fresh, unworn, with all accessories, totally unused.
- Excellent — Barely distinguishable from new; minimal signs of handling.
- Very good — Gently used with light marks or minor imperfections.
- Good — Evident signs of use; aged gracefully while maintaining structure.
- Fair — Visible wear consistent with age; a piece with traces of a former life.
Note: Many listings are store-fresh. When a piece is pre-owned, its condition and inclusions are clearly stated above. Pre-Owned items have retained their original shape and have been professionally cleaned inside and out.
